Made these with Flash CS3 and AS3 to see how much Flash Player can take in full screen. Click in the movie (some require clicking to something visible on stage) to enter full screen more. You must have FP 9.26.0 or higher. You dont have to play them in full screen of course, they just dont look pretty enough in small window. Examples are not interactive, press ESC to exit full screen. You can download zip files with FCS3 fla and main AS class files. Fla doesnt have anything beside importing class and creating one new instance.

Connected - 300 circles moving around trying to form snake-like shape. Random colors.

Grid - This example is interesting because there is always just 1 single sprite on stage that is being moved and modified. It is created once at the start, later its position, scaling and color is changed. Using draw command to make it appear in bitmap.

Shapes2 - Here are 100 shapes (squares and triangles) moving horisontally on the stage. 100 bullets are moving on stage vertically. The collision detection between bullets and shapes is done using getObjectsUnderPoint method.
